SOURCE REDUCTION OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND WASTE
A guide for site planning and management produced by Groupe AGÉCO in conjunction with the Canada Green Building Council-Québec Chapter and ECPAR.
Groupe AGÉCO spearheaded this major project, over a period of two years, to pool the expertise of a host of professionals from the Quebec construction industry. In addition to drafting the guide, Groupe AGÉCO assisted three project owners in implementing good source reduction practices on vast work sites and measured their impact using a rigorous approach based on a life cycle assessment. The end result is a guide that will help equip stakeholders of the construction industry and bring about deep-seated and lasting changes in how things are done, from the initial planning stage right through the implementation of construction work, based on a circular economy perspective.
